AS/NZ 2712

Our collectors were passed AS/NZ test on Nov 15,2009. ANTL(Australian National Testing Laboratory) was commissioned by Aodexia International Corp to carry out testing on evacuated tube solar collectors.

1)Hail Resistance

The collector was supported horizontally on a test bed. Two impact points, 150mm from each end of two tubes, were selected across the collector. An ice ball, 25.4mm nominal diameter and 7.5gm mass were fired at 23.0m/s at each of the impact points. A total of five ice balls were fired at each of the impact locations.

The collector was then assessed for any cracking, Breaking, fractures or puncture of the glazing.

2)Stagnation Test

The environmental chamber was maintained at 32degC for the duration of this test. The collector was installed on the test stand and the solar simulator light was adjusted to provide normal incident radiation on the surface of the collector. A stagnaion test as specified in AS/NZS 2117 app B Method B was then conducted.

At the completion of the 10 day stagnation test a thermal performance test, at one inlet water temperature point was conducted to determine if there had been any reduction in performance.
